A student-led pro-Palestinian group at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who had been provisionally suspended for allegedly disrupting class, has had its suspension lifted and been placed on probation for one year.

Students for Palestine Justice (SJP) at Rutgers have been provisionally suspended due to allegations that they “disrupted classes, programs, meals, and student studies.”

“Rutgers University typically issues a suspension of organizational activities when a student organization faces multiple conduct complaints,” a Rutgers University spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Friday. “The conduct case involving the Rutgers New Brunswick Palestine Chapter's Students for Justice has been resolved and the interim suspension of the organization's activities has ended.”

The spokesperson added that the organization was given a one-year probation along with educational sanctions.
