one of the sons of pawn stars Rick Harrison has died of an overdose at the age of 39, according to multiple reports.
Adam Harrison's body was discovered on Friday, but exactly when and where he died remains unclear, TMZ report.
It also remains unclear what type of substance was involved in the overdose.
Las Vegas police told TMZ they are investigating the incident.
“Our family is deeply saddened by Adam's death. We ask for privacy as we mourn Mr. Harrison's death,” Harrison's family said. Las Vegas Review Journal Via a spokesperson.
On Friday, Rick Harrison posted a photo of himself and Adam on Instagram and wrote: I love you Adam. ”
Adam was the second child of Rick Harrison and ex-wife Kim, and the younger brother of Corey Harrison.
While both Rick and Corey perform; pawn starsAdam Harrison never appeared on the History Channel's long-running reality show.
TMZ reports that Adam worked at a Gold & Silver pawn shop before the series premiered in 2009, but that he no longer works at the pawn shop.

Rick Harrison co-founded Gold & Silver with his father in 1989 and has run it ever since.
pawn stars It first aired in 2009 and ended its 22nd season last year.
