Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R-S.C.) gave a cheeky response to the news that her challenger, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), is suspending his presidential campaign. “May the best woman win,” she told a crowd of supporters. ”
“I just heard that Ron DeSantis has withdrawn from the race,” Haley told cheering supporters.
“He ran a great race. He was a good governor and we wish him the best,” Haley continued, adding that the race is “now one man and one woman.” He emphasized that all the other men who had participated in the campaign had dropped out.
“So, in the end, what do you want? Do you want more of the same, or do you want something new? Decide who's good, who's bad, who's right, who's wrong. Do you want to go back to your country? Or do you want to come together as Americans and say, “Let's get inflation down and get our economy back on track.'' We get our children to read books again and get back to the basics of education. We're going to secure our borders once and for all,” she said, adding that her goal is “a strong America that we can all be proud of.”
“We have two days left until New Hampshire goes to the polls. And we're going to fight as hard as we can until the last moment. And what New Hampshire people need to know is that if we win the presidency in this country, you… “I'm going to do everything in my power to prove that I made the right decision,” Haley said before making a cheeky, Hillary-esque remark.
“But for now, I'll leave you with this: May the best woman win,” she said as her supporters cheered.

I'm supporting him because we can't go back to the old Republican guard that repackaged the benign corporatism that Nikki Haley represents,” he said on his way out of the race. Governor Nikki Haley issued the following statement Sunday in Manchester, New Hampshire: So far, he's only on the ballot in one state. Half of the votes went to Donald Trump, and half didn't vote. Our country is not a country that holds coronation ceremonies. Voters have a say in whether we take another Trump-Biden path or a new conservative path. New Hampshire voters will have their say Tuesday. If I become president, I will do everything in my power to show them that they made the right decision. ”
