Bills fans pelt Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes with snowballs

The AFC divisional round game between the Chiefs and the Bills ended in a low point at Highmark Stadium.

Buffalo fans threw snowballs at Kansas City in the final moments of the Chiefs' 27-24 win at Orchard Park on Sunday.

Among those targeted by Bills fans was Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was running toward the tunnel, according to video from the stadium.

Maybe Buffalo fans were frustrated watching Mahomes beat the Bills in the playoffs for the third time in the last four years.

Or Bills Mafia hear (and see) Taylor Swift celebrate when her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, finds the end zone twice in a playoff thriller Maybe he was tired of it.

Or was it because the Bills' kicker missed to the right side again?

Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal attempt with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter that would have tied the score at 27-27.

Bills fans are sure to have flashbacks to Super Bowl XXV. Scott Norwood missed a 47-yard field goal to the right with eight seconds left, giving the New York Giants, led by head coach Bill Parcells and defensive coordinator Bill Belichick, the victory. They won their first Lombardi Trophy with a record of 20 wins and 19 losses.

Once again, Bills fans are in for a heartbreaking postseason experience.

Once again, the Chiefs are one win away from a Super Bowl appearance.

Mahomes, who has already won two titles, has been the Chiefs' starting quarterback for six seasons.

He has played for the AFC title every year.

But this time will be different, as Mahomes' Chiefs will have to go on the road for the first time to qualify for the AFC Championship.

The Baltimore Ravens, who defeated the Houston Texans 34-10 on Saturday, will face the Chiefs on Sunday, January 28th, with the winner advancing to Super Bowl III.
