Florida Governor Ron DeSantis took one last swipe at former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who withdrew from the presidential race this week.
DeSantis accused Haley of representing “corporatism” and emphasized her support for former President Trump. Haley is currently Trump's only remaining challenger in the Republican primary.

DeSantis withdrew from the 2024 Republican presidential race on Sunday, just two days before the New Hampshire primary, endorsing former President Donald Trump.

Florida's governor announced his decision to suspend campaigning in a social media video on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“If there's anything I can do to create a favorable outcome, such as canceling more campaigns and doing more interviews, I will do it.” DeSantis said In video. “But we can’t get our supporters to donate their time and resources unless we have a clear path to victory.”
“Therefore, I am suspending my campaign today,” said DeSantis, who was in a distant third place in New Hampshire's latest poll by a single-digit margin.

DeSantis said he has “differences of opinion” with Trump but stressed that he believes the former president is a better leader than Biden.

Trump himself said Sunday that he was “honored” to have DeSantis' support.
