In April 2020, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis vowed not to socialize with subordinates while campaigning for the incumbent. That's exactly what she allegedly did with the special counsel she hired in Trump's election interference case.
video clip of interview She was first featured in Friday's Washington Free Beacon on April 7, 2020, revealing that Willis said he would not date subordinates. she said:
It would be sad for me if a young woman came to work and felt that she was even judged as a woman, but on the other hand, if I suddenly felt uncomfortable in the workplace, that would be sad for me as a shift supervisor. That's not allowed. Anyone who doesn't encourage and develop my staff under my leadership won't be a boss in my administration for long, and I'm not going to choose someone to date the people who work for me.
She also addressed extramarital affairs, saying that while the community is not concerned about extramarital affairs, “there may be moral bankruptcy there.”
Sloppy Fani will have to answer the allegations against her not only in writing but also in a televised court hearing. https://t.co/Fjmu3cCexA

She said the public's “real concern” was “inappropriate contact with employees”, adding that it was distracting and “inappropriate”. She also said it was “unfortunate” that taxpayers would have to pay for the legal costs resulting from that inappropriate contact.
Let me just say, we're in a place in society where things happen in relationships between people, couples and sometimes outside relationships. I don't think the community is concerned about that. You know, there may be moral bankruptcy there. I think what the public is really concerned about is if you choose to have inappropriate contact with an employee, I mean, there's nothing to say about it other than it's distracting. Certainly inappropriate for the number one law enforcement officer in this state. And that's really, really sad and it would be a huge shame if the taxpayers of this community had to pay for any of these lawsuits.

Willis has come under intense scrutiny after a recent filing by a co-defendant's attorney raised allegations of a romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, a subordinate he hired to handle the Trump case in Fulton County. This suspicion appears to be supported by the filing of a separate divorce case between Wade and his wife Joycelyn Wade. Mr. Wade filed for divorce from Mr. Willis' wife the day after he was hired by Mr. Willis as a special prosecutor in the Trump case.
According to these filings, while employed by Willis and paid by taxpayers, he purchased airline tickets for at least two trips with Willis to Miami and San Francisco. Lawyers for Wade's wife claim he and others have also traveled to Belize, Panama and Australia.
Mr. Willis has not denied the allegations of a romantic relationship, instead accusing Mr. Wade's wife of trying to sabotage the case against Mr. Trump. She also blamed the allegations against her and Wade on racism, and she claimed Wade was being investigated because he is black.

But Mr. Wade was paid more than the other two prosecutors in the case, even though Mr. Willis has no experience as a prosecutor on the type of case he is pursuing against former President Donald Trump. It is reported that he has received.
Willis is currently fighting a subpoena from lawyers for Wade's wife, who are seeking to have Willis removed as part of their divorce case.
Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee set a hearing date for Feb. 15 to consider the allegations against Willis and compel her to respond.
