In a shocking move, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has withdrawn from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Glenn Beck believes it was a good decision.
“That was my advice…Thursday or Friday, my advice was that he should leave the school now, so that he doesn't tarnish his name any further.” Over and over again. I don’t want to look defeated,” Glenn says.
But protecting his reputation wasn't the only reason it was a good move.
“Mr. President, listen up. Could you please consider Ron DeSantis for Attorney General?” Glenn asks.
Not only does DeSantis have a great track record at Florida, Glenn said, “he has a great track record at Florida. He’s a proven fighter” and “He knows the deep state.”
“I think if there's anyone who can come into the Department of Justice and clean it up and then wipe out all the nightmares and bring justice back to the Department of Justice, it's Ron DeSantis,” Glenn explains.
Glenn believes this would be a great move for Donald Trump.
“If he accepts that and Donald Trump announces it now, it's going to create a lot of momentum with Ron DeSantis voters, and it's going to create a lot of momentum with Trump voters,” Glenn says.
