America's elites, not surprisingly, hold some shocking beliefs.
The poll, conducted on behalf of the Committee for Prosperity and Liberation, asked a variety of questions, dividing Americans into ordinary class, elite, and “super-elite” groups.
Seventy-three percent of elite and super-elite respondents considered themselves Democrats, and their responses were alarming.
According to their responses, 77% of elites and 89% of superelites support strict rationing of meat, gas, and electricity.
A majority would think the government is giving Americans too much freedom by banning gasoline-powered cars and banning non-essential air travel for Americans.
“Oh my god,” Glenn Beck reacted, agitated. “It doesn’t feel that way in other parts of the country.”
A majority of elites and super-elites also trust the government to do the right thing, supporting Joe Biden by a whopping 83%.
Glenn recognizes this mindset for what it is.
“This isn't a war against Republicans or Democrats, it's a war between elites versus the rest of us. They don't see the world quite the same way,” Glenn explains.
Elites also reported that they were doing well financially in the current situation while everyone else was struggling.
“They're supporting Biden because they're getting rich. You're feeling the pain,” Glenn says.
