The Boston Celtics have the best team in the NBA as the 2023-24 season reaches its halfway point, and it looks like the men in green and white will be competing for the NBA Championship.

Boston entered the year with some changes to its lineup.

The team traded Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies, Grant Williams to the Dallas Mavericks, and acquired Jrue Holiday from the Portland Trail Blazers for Malcolm Brogdon and Robert Williams.

Boston acquired Kristaps Porzingis in a smart trade. It's definitely a new team.

Jayson Tatum emerged as the team's leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 27 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. He told Fox News Digital before Monday's win over Dallas that the Celtics might be “the most talented team” he's ever played.

“Obviously we have new players on our team in KP and Jrue Holiday. They've been great all season and added a different dynamic to our team,” Tatum said. “It's not that the other teams didn't have talent, but I think this is probably the most talented and most understanding team I've ever been on. For example, we all have our numbers. It's a little bit of a sacrifice.”

Tatum noted that the desire to play as a team is different than in years past.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum names NBA player he'll be a tough matchup for: “He's just very solid.''

“We all share the wealth, so no one necessarily gets career year points per game,” he added. “Everyone has the ability to put the ball on the floor, shoot, attack and make plays for others. But we really enjoy each other's success and we have so much fun in the process. .”

The star guard will likely play in the All-Star Game again. It will be the fifth of his career.
