The Supreme Court ruled Monday in favor of the Biden administration regarding its ongoing war with Texas. The court granted federal agents access to the border and declared that Texas authorities would remove the razor wire fence they installed as a way to keep out illegal immigrants.
However, Texas Governor Greg Abbott did not follow these orders.officially statement In his announcement earlier this week, Abbott declared that Texas' constitutional right to self-defense supersedes federal law. Now, the state has begun restoring the razor wire fence that was previously removed.
Yesterday, Mr. Abbott explained his decision not to comply with the Supreme Court's order on Fox News.
“Texas is very simply securing the border because the Biden administration has really, truly abdicated their responsibility to secure the border and enforce the law,” he told Fox News' Dana Perino.
“We put up all these barricades, but the fact is have Illegal entry denied…Criminals come across the border, and Texas has the right as a state to stop criminals from entering our state. [and] to arrest those criminals. “We have deployed National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety personnel to arrest and deny people illegal entry,” he continued.
“Joe Biden actually has a choice here. Joe Biden's choice is to enforce the laws of the United States and stop this illegal immigration.”
“It seems like we've needed this fight for a long time. This is overdue,” Dave Rubin tells Sara Gonzalez and Michael Maris.
“This is a treasonous act on the part of the Biden administration. This is absolute treason. It goes against what is written in our founding documents. [and] “True to what our founding fathers intended,” Sara said, adding, “If the Biden administration truly cared about the American people, they would have done what they could not do for Texas.” I would be grateful to you,” he added.
“Unless the plan is to destroy America, in which case they're not that excited,” Dave says.
