A 31-year-old woman was found dead on a Los Angeles County beach Friday, hours after her boyfriend reported her missing, Manhattan Beach police said.

The woman, identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office as Jennifer Honey, was reported missing just before 7 a.m. local time, and her body was discovered by lifeguards just after 10 a.m. while the U.S. Coast Guard was also searching the waters. It was done.

Her boyfriend said she last saw her near the waterline in Manhattan Beach, and when her friends couldn’t find her, they reported her missing.

Her cause and manner of death have not yet been reported by the medical examiner.
