Watchdog group launches campaign to expose antisemitism on college campuses

Media and government watchdog groups on Tuesday launched a campaign to expose students and faculty who engage in anti-Semitic activity on university campuses and encourage employers to use databases documenting such acts.

According to Accuracy in Media, an organization whose mission is to “use civic engagement and investigative reporting to expose media bias, corruption, and public policy failures,” many college campuses nationwide It will be a day of exercise. As part of its activism efforts, Accuracy in Media will deploy mobile billboards at each campus to promote a new website the group has launched. Check out YourHate.com. The website includes a petition calling on employers to “blacklist” applicants who have allegedly engaged in anti-Semitic activity or sentiment on their campuses.

The group said those applicants will be tracked in a new database launched by fellow watchdog group Canary Mission, which will “promote hateful anti-Semitic beliefs on and off college campuses. The purpose is to record students, professionals, and organizations who believe in this.

“The rise in anti-Semitic sentiment we have seen at American universities is disgusting and alarming,” Adam Gillett, president of Accuracy in Media, told FOX News Digital in a statement. “The October 7th attack emboldened these hateful anti-Semites to come out of the shadows and brazenly call for the destruction of Israel.”

“This is unacceptable and it’s time to send a message to our students, faculty and staff that their hatred has no place here. It’s time to hold these extremists accountable. “We are calling on them to scrutinize their employment practices and take a tough stance against hiring anti-Semites,” he added.

Accuracy in Media includes targeting former Harvard University President Claudine Gay as part of a fierce backlash over her handling of anti-Semitism on college campuses during a Congressional hearing after the Oct. 7 attacks.
