Migrants Brutally Attack NYC Cops, Get Freed from Jail without Bail

On Tuesday, a mob of immigrants brutally attacked New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers in the sanctuary city of New York City. After being arrested, the migrants were released without posting a penny of bail.

by new york daily newsthe immigrants Approaching the It was carried out by three NYPD officers outside a taxpayer-funded immigrant shelter in midtown Manhattan. All of the migrants are reportedly living in shelters set up by Democratic Mayor Eric Adams with taxpayer funds.

Footage of the attack shows the mob brutally assaulting police officers, kicking them in the head and back as they tried to arrest one of the migrants.

The officers were treated at the scene of the attack. Following a search throughout the area, two 19-year-old immigrants, one 21-year-old immigrant, and one 24-year-old immigrant were arrested and charged with assaulting police.

All four immigrants were released without bail, thanks to a New York state law that guarantees no bail for suspects charged with crimes deemed “nonviolent” and many violent crimes.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said of the attack: “An illegal alien could walk across the border, beat up a New York City police officer and be released without bail.” “This is a national disgrace. Deport the illegal aliens and close the borders!”

Alison Esposito, a Republican running for New York’s 18th Congressional District, said New Yorkers are “living in an upside-down world” due to a wave of illegal immigration and bail reform.

“Our leaders have created a system that prioritizes criminals over law-abiding citizens and illegal immigrants over police officers,” Esposito said. “New York Democrats are condoning pro-crime laws that empower criminals, effectively handing over our streets to lawlessness.”

Nearly 200,000 border crossers and undocumented immigrants have arrived in New York City since spring 2022, and more than 67,000 are still living on taxpayers’ dime in city-run shelters.
