The Baltimore Ravens’ offense was derailed by the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, with many observers pointing to a lack of run attempts as the reason the Ravens scored just 10 points.

One player on the Ravens’ offensive line seemed confused by the lack of points.

“Remember, when you take off, it changes the entire flow of the game,” Beckham said on a hot mic on “Inside the NFL.” “I need to talk to you for a second, what the hell is going on?”

The Ravens were the best rushing team in the NFL this season, averaging 156.5 yards per game. And it was obvious why Jackson ran for 821 yards and five touchdowns.

Jackson gained 54 yards against the Chiefs, but carried the ball only eight times. What was even worse in the eyes of Ravens fans was that running backs Gus Edwards and Justice Hill combined for six rushes throughout the game.

Jackson threw 37 innings, finishing 20 of them while the Chiefs defense crowded the pocket.

As a result, the first half was a short drive. In the second half, Jackson was pitching with the Ravens leading.

Baltimore was able to cut the Chiefs’ lead to one point, but things might have played out differently had he not thrown an interception on a pass into the end zone to tight end Isaiah Likely.

Baltimore’s losses aren’t all Jackson’s fault. Rookie receiver Zay Flowers committed a crucial fumble while diving into the end zone, and Chiefs cornerback Rajarius Sneed punched it across the goal line for a touchback.

If Flowers scores there, the game might turn out differently.
