Last week, reports surfaced that former PGA Tour player Anthony Kim was close to returning to professional golf. LIV Golf and the PGA Tour were both on the table when they first surfaced.
In the days since the news broke, it looks like his former base will be the place he returns. Of course, the PGA Tour will welcome him with open arms.
A week later, the rumors changed.Barstool Sports golf reporter Dan Rappaport dropped the latest one About Kim.
“Rumors are circulating among LIV players that Anthony Kim will make his LIV golf debut in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from March 1st to 3rd,” he wrote in X.

His sources appear to be LIV Golf players, but multiple social media accounts associated with the Saudi-backed league have tweeted the same thing.
However, there has been no announcement from Kim’s camp regarding his decision.
The question is why LIV is relevant. How could he be in this league without a team? There are individual spots available for players, but will there be enough for him?Hudson Swafford, as an individual he is one of the few players to qualify for LIV.
These rumors may just be rumors. But with high-profile players like Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton making strides recently, the money story is clear.
