Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators opposed aid to Israel and blocked five major roads in the Washington, D.C., area during Thursday morning rush hour.

The massive protest was organized by the Palestinian Youth Movement and also included anti-Zionist groups such as Jewish Voice for Peace, which posted photos from outside the Holocaust Museum.
Iman Abid Thompson, director of the United States Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), listed five demands on behalf of the rioters.
- permanent and complete ceasefire
- End all US military funding to Israel
- Restoration of funds to UNRWA
- freedom for all political prisoners
- Ending 76 years of occupation

USCPR proudly shared a video of protesters sitting in chains, in the middle of the street, shouting, “Brick by brick, wall by wall, apartheid must be abolished!”
