Taylor Swift was seen starring as Sandy in Grease in a throwback photo shared by her childhood co-stars.
On Thursday, actor Tobin Mitnick, 36, played Danny Zuko opposite the 34-year-old pop star who played Sandy Olson in the June 2000 hit Broadway musical. I posted a slideshow of images.
“Thank you for digging out this photo of Taylor Swift and me in flapping harmony on a summer night 25 years ago from storage,” Mitnick wrote in the caption.

In the first photo, Swift was wearing a white cardigan, light blue top, white shorts, and her hair tied back in a ponytail, while Mitnick was wearing a black leather jacket and black pants.
The pair leaned on each other’s backs and smiled for the camera, with Mitnick pointing his finger at the sky.

In the second snap, Swift was seen turning her head to smile at Mitnick. A third photo showed Swift as Sandy after her transformation at the end of the musical.
The 12-time Grammy winner was seen wearing a curly blonde wig and a strapless black top, dancing next to Mitnick, who was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.

“Grease” is the story of Sandy, a wholesome Australian exchange student who falls in love with Danny, the rebellious leader of a local “greaser” gang, during his summer vacation. After Sandy suddenly transfers to Danny’s high school, the two try to resume their summer romance.

The original Broadway production of this musical premiered in 1972, and “Grease” was later made into a hit film starring the musical. olivia newton john And John Travolta.
Mitnick, a native of Swift’s hometown of Pennsylvania, is also a comedian and author of the 2023 book Must Love Trees: An Unconventional Guide.

Swift has yet to appear on Broadway, but a 2016 video shared by her friend Gigi Hadid shows her belting out the lyrics to Sandy’s most famous song, “Grease.”
In a clip posted by the model on Snapchat, Swift also sings along with Julianne Hough performing Sandy’s solo “Hopeless Devoted to You” on FOX’s “Grease: Live.”
