Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign took aim at the ages of President Biden and former President Trump in a new digital ad released Saturday.
The ad titled “What would a grumpy old man say?”teeth first video The first in a series of “Grumpy Old Men” campaigns against the front-runners of both parties.
The more than two-minute spot includes footage of Biden appearing to tweet during his speech, footage of Trump confusing Haley with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and footage of Biden appearing to tweet during his speech, as well as images of Trump confusing Haley with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Video has been posted that confuses Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The ad is the third in a campaign launched earlier this week. The Hill was the first outlet to earn that spot.
“Sixty percent of American families are living paycheck to paycheck, there is a full-scale crisis at our southern border, and wars are brewing in Europe and the Middle East,” Haley’s national press secretary Olivia Perez said.・Cubus said. “We need to know that our nation’s leaders are at their best and these grumpy old men are not passing the call.”
“Nikki Haley is a new generation of conservative leader who has the strength, focus and stamina to save our country,” she added.
While Haley sought to differentiate herself from Trump as the new face of the Republican Party in the Republican primary, she has also used a similar strategy to contrast herself with Biden.
According to polls, this tactic could work against Biden in a general election scenario. A Quinnipiac University poll released this week found Haley leading Biden in the general election, 47% to 42%. According to the Hills Decision Desk Headquarters polling average, Ms. Haley leads Mr. Biden by just over a point.
But Haley faces a tougher primary race against Trump. The Hills Decision Desk headquarters average shows Trump leading Haley by 57 points nationally.
The two will face off in South Carolina’s Republican primary in less than a month. Trump currently leads Haley by an average of 31 points in the state.
