Stalinsky described demonstrators in the city chanting “Intifada, Intifada,” “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea,” and “America is a terrorist state.”

Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud tweeted Friday that city police have increased security at places of worship and key infrastructure points “as a direct result” of the WSJ op-ed.

“Americans know it is wrong to condemn a group of people based on the words of a few,” Biden’s post said. “That’s what can lead to Islamophobia and anti-Arab hatred, and that should never happen to the residents of Dearborn, or to any city in America.”
