Toby Keith dies at age 62 after battling cancer
The country singer died just weeks after performing on stage in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Country singer Toby Keith died Monday at the age of 62, his family said in a statement posted to his website and social media accounts early Tuesday.
“Toby Keith passed away peacefully last night, February 5th, surrounded by his family,” the statement said.
“He fought his battles with grace and courage.” “Please respect his family’s privacy at this time.”

Keith revealed that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June 2022.

The Oklahoma-based country music star was best known for his 1993 hit “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”
Keith is survived by his wife Tricia, three children and four grandchildren.
