All three victims were found on the third floor, York Fire Department Chief William Slieger said. Both sides of the duplex were destroyed, with damage estimated at $250,000.
A firefighter stepped into a hole in the floorboards while fighting the fire and issued a distress call, but “were able to get out and got right back to work,” Slieger said.
