Travis Kelce may grab all the headlines, but the other star of the 2024 Super Bowl, the tight end himself, isn’t too bad.
George Kittle had another great season in 2023, catching 65 passes for 1,020 yards (63.75 yards per game) and six touchdowns.
The seven-year veteran had the best year of his career when it comes to the deep ball, averaging a career-high 15.7 yards per catch and 18 explosive receptions (catches of 20 yards or more) during the regular season.
Kittle became more adept at making big plays as the season progressed, making 16 of 18 catches of 20 yards or more since late October.
That continued into the postseason, where he caught two passes for 32 yards against the Packers in the Divisional Round and caught a 28-yard pass against the Lions in the NFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs’ secondary has ranked as one of the best in the NFL all season, thanks in large part to star corners Trent McDuffie and Jarius Sneed.
That duo will likely be distracted by Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel on the outside, allowing Kittle to block a big play or two.
Kansas City has been weak at tight end this season, allowing 1,315 yards to the position during the regular season, third-most in the NFL, with McDuffie and Snead locking down opposing receivers.
That’s why we’re betting Kittle’s longest reception will be over 20.5 yards (-120, FanDuel Sportsbook).

He has exceeded that number in eight of his last 10 games.
It’s also worth spending some money on Kittle to get 30+ yards receptions (+290) and 40+ yards receptions (+700), both of which he has exceeded over the past three games. This is the number that exists.
Play: George Kittle’s longest reception over 20.5 yards (-120, FanDuel)
