Then four weeks later, the Cats beat the Bengals for a point…the Chiefs won, but couldn’t cover. Hmm. However, once the playoffs began, the Wildcats and Chiefs’ fortunes changed. The Chiefs held on to the Cats’ faith until the end, giving them a point in the wild-card round and earning points in the divisional and conference final rounds.
Why stop when things are going well? KC should be able to survive the match against the 49ers on this day. Niners QB Brock Purdy is still an above-average quarterback in our eyes…but that aside, at this point — and given the state of both teams’ supporting casts — Chiefs QB Pat Mahomes’ I continue to believe that I have better abilities. Make the most of this opportunity.
Andy Reid and his stout men will have enough left in them to defeat San Francisco’s Kyle Shanahan and his versatile team.
If you want to bet on the total, we recommend the over (currently 47.5). They are in the domed Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, having two weeks of rest and preparation. It’s expected to be a close game, but the Cats are looking for a win over Kansas City, even if they don’t score any points.
