Shariah Gordon “cried my eyes out” after her boyfriend Mecole Hardman Jr. helped the Chiefs win the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.
In an emotional post shared on her Instagram Stories, a tearful Gordon can be seen walking through what appears to be Allegiant Stadium, where wide receiver Hardman was attacked by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He pulled in a 3-yard pass to give the 49ers a 25-22 victory. Working overtime.
“I’m literally crying so hard the scales are falling from my eyes. God is so good,” she said in the video.
It was a storybook ending for Hardman. Hardman started the season as a member of the Jets, who were traded back to Kansas City in October and went on to win two Super Bowls in 2020 and 2023.
Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to back-to-back championships, said after the game that he didn’t realize the game was over when the 25-year-old Hardman made the catch.

“Can I tell you a funny story?” Mahomes said. “I threw a touchdown to this guy to end the game, and he didn’t know it. I said, ‘Hey, we just won the Super Bowl.’ I had no idea. He didn’t even celebrate at first. ”
Hardman recalled: I’m not going to lie. He saw Pat running toward me and thought, “Oh, we won.” The rest is history. ”
The 25-year-old wideout had three receptions for 57 yards and scored the winning touchdown.
Gordon has been dating Hardman since at least September 2021. according to peoplelater gushing about his Super Bowl hero in an Instagram tribute.
“Look you’re getting everything you deserve! 3x SB Champion!!!!!! Congratulations, baby!” exclaimed beauty entrepreneur Gordon.

Hardman and Gordon have a son, who was born during Super Bowl weekend last February.
