One of the furry members of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s family made its commercial debut at the Super Bowl on February 11th.
On Sunday, the “The First Wives Club” star shared on Instagram that her Labrador retriever, Roy Horne Russell, was featured in a Budweiser Super Bowl ad.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love watching football, but tonight is all about watching our dog Roy Hawn Russell appear in @budweiserusa’s first Super Bowl commercial. I did!!!” Horn captioned a video of herself, Kurt and her family watching the ad.
The new celebrity of the Horne-Russell family, Roy appeared in a commercial for the beer company “Old School Delivery,” in which he guided a Clydesdale horse to a bar during a heavy snowfall.

As the family watched the ad, they heard Russell say, “It’s Roy!” In a video shared by Goldie. He added, “Yes, Roy!” Meanwhile, the rest of the room erupted in excitement and applause.
Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson shared her perspective on Roy’s big Super Bowl commercial. In her Kate video, she shared a close-up of Roy getting lots of love from everyone in her room after showing a Budweiser commercial.

“There are many actors in this family, but tonight there was only one star,” Hudson captioned the post.
In Kate’s video, Kurt praises Roy, saying, “You’ve been in front of more people than any actor in this family has been in front of at one time.”
Kurt and Goldie have been together for 40 years. Russell and Hawn first met in 1966 when they co-starred in the comedy musical western The One and Only Real Original Family Band. Horn was 21 and Russell 16 at the time. In 2012, Horne told BBC Radio 4 that Russell told her she thought “she was lovely, but too young”.
They officially got together in 1983.

The two are parents to son Wyatt, 37, and the “Escape from New York” star also helped raise Hawn’s daughters Kate, 44, and Oliver, 47, from her marriage to actor Bill Hudson, 74. . Russell also has a son, Boston. 43 years old, and his ex-wife Season Hubley, 72 years old.
