The House of Representatives passed a bipartisan resolution Wednesday condemning rape and sexual violence by Hamas terrorists as weapons of war during and after the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
The resolution, introduced by Florida Democratic Rep. Lois Frankel and supported by 200 co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle, passed by a vote of 418-0.
Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) voted “present.”

Rep. Tlaib said he was “upset” that the resolution “completely ignores and erases all sexual violence” allegedly committed by IDF forces. These claims are baseless.
The resolution also calls on all international organizations to “unequivocally condemn the barbaric murders, rapes, sexual assaults, and kidnappings committed by Hamas and other terrorists” since October 7, and to hold all perpetrators accountable. I am asking you to pursue it.
