No one charged yet in Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting

No charges have yet been filed in connection with Wednesday’s shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, but police have detained multiple suspects.

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves held a press conference Thursday to update the press on the ongoing investigation and announce that prosecutors are continuing to work toward charges.

Authorities also said initial reports suggested the shootings occurred in multiple locations, but investigators do not believe this and noted that the violence “occurred primarily on the west side of Union Station.” .

Police report a total of 23 victims in the shooting, one of whom has died – Elizabeth Gavin, 43.
