Prayer app Hallow takes top spot on Apple App Store

Catholic prayer and meditation app Hallow currently holds the top spot in Apple’s App Store, with downloads continuing to surge after the Super Bowl ad aired and the start of Lent on Wednesday.

Hallow co-founder Alex Jones congratulated X, sending a screenshot of the milestone and writing, “For the first time ever, Jesus has the #1 app on the App Store.”

Launched in 2018, Hallow has been the most downloaded and used Catholic app in the world for years, but Jones said the team was “surprised” that it reached number one among all apps. ” he said.
