Pelosi represents California’s 11th District, the downtown area of San Francisco. The 49ers lost to the Chiefs 22-25 on Sunday in a matchup that went into overtime.
The former House speaker flew to Las Vegas to watch the game. Someone posted a video online of Pelosi heading to the game “wearing Niners gear.”
“Go Niners! #FFTB,” she wrote in response.
After the game, Pelosi posted on X (formerly Twitter) that her team was “outstanding on the field” and that supporters “exhibited to the fullest the Red & Gold spirit that is the pride of the Bay Area.” ” I praised him for doing so.
“Although it wasn’t the result we wanted, our Niners had a great season and made the Bay Area proud every step of the way.” she said.
