The Howard University graduate, who currently lives in Arizona, has been hired as an instructor in the Catalina Foothills School District.
Following news that Diallo had an OnlyFans account, the Catalina Foothills School District fired the biracial civil rights activist.
“We first became aware of Nkechi Diallo’s Only Fans social media posts yesterday afternoon. Her posts are in line with our district’s ‘Use of Social Media by District Employees’ policy. This is against the employee ethics policy. She is not currently employed by the school board. Catalina Foothills School District,” KVOA was told Wednesday by Julie Farbalik, director of alumni and community affairs for the district.
In a letter to parents, the district said it is “committed to maintaining a learning environment where social media presence is consistent with professional obligations.”
As Blaze News previously reported, Diallo was paid $19 an hour as an “after-school teacher” at Sunrise Drive Elementary School in Tucson.
Dolezal gained notoriety in 2015 after her white parents said their daughter was not black and portrayed herself as black.
Dolezal resigned as president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington, following a backlash that featured accusations of cultural appropriation and trying to profit from identifying as another race. The racism scandal also led to her being fired from her position as an African studies lecturer at Eastern Washington University.
Dolezal, 46, said she began identifying as black in 2006.
Dolezal said while discussing her race. guardian 2017:
I think it would be helpful to have more complex labels, but we don’t have that vocabulary. I think the idea of being a trans black person is much more accurate than “I’m white.” As you know, I’m not white. Every kind of issue, whether political, social, or cultural, has a black side and a white side. There’s a perspective, there’s a mentality, there’s a culture. To say that I’m black means that this is how I see the world, this is philosophy, this is history, this is what I love, this is what I respect. That’s what I say. Calling yourself black feels more accurate than calling yourself white.
In a 2021 interview, Dolezal said she was having trouble finding work because of the scandal.
“I started by applying to everything I was qualified for, but after getting interviews and being turned down, I started applying for jobs that didn’t require a degree, like being a hotel maid or working in a casino.” € Dolezal Said On the “Tamron Hall” program. “I didn’t even get those jobs.”
