Southern Miss forward Aja Leake, who was on the bench at the time, jumped in with several other players and appeared to grab Imebubole by the neck and drag him to the floor.
Southern Miss assistant coach Jessica Barber fell during the scuffle and appeared to be pinned under the ball.
One ESPN broadcaster said, “This could get ugly. It got ugly.”
As the fight was about to end, several fans came down from the stands and got involved.
