Trump sparks emotional reactions from crowd in surprise visit to sneaker convention

Former President Donald Trump visited Pennsylvania over the weekend and was greeted with mixed and emotional reactions from attendees at Sneaker Con.

Trump’s surprise appearance at the event, known as the “Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth,” came just before the former president traveled to Michigan for a campaign rally, according to the organizer’s website.

Trump took to the stage at the Philadelphia event in front of an emotional crowd, some of whom cheered him while others booed him during his speech.

President Trump appeared with a custom pair of Trump-branded gold sneakers, currently available in limited quantities for $399 a pair, and spoke for about 10 minutes.

“There’s a lot of emotion. There’s a lot of emotion in this room,” President Trump said shortly after taking the stage. “They’re lining up the whole block. I’ve never seen anything like this.”
