“Squad” member Rashida Tlaib publicly encouraged progressives to vote against President Biden in Michigan’s upcoming Democratic primary to protest support for Israel’s war against Hamas.

“As you all know, it is important not only to march against genocide, but also to call on our legislators and local electors to pass city resolutions across the country,” she added in the video.
“It’s also important to create a voting bloc, and it’s also important to create a kind of bullhorn that says enough is enough. We don’t want a country that supports wars and bombs.”
Tlaib’s staunch defense of the Palestinian people has often put him in tough positions.Last November, the House of Representatives voted for reprimand Tlaib said of her comments regarding Israel.

Other progressives who have fallen out with Biden over the Israel issue, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.) and fellow Squad member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) In 2019, he supported Biden.
