Jon Stewart went into full damage control on Monday night, going after former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and criticizing Carlson for his interview with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The veteran comedian ended with another jab at Carlson.
“But this is the reality,” he said. “You know all this, you’re not as stupid as your face makes you believe.”
Mr. Stewart’s attack comes after Mr. Stewart came under fire from viewers just last week for daring to criticize Mr. Biden, saying he couldn’t remember “very basic things.”
Stewart noted that special counsel Robert Hur’s recent report on the president found Biden’s “diminished capacity and memory deficiencies,” adding, “If indicted, he will be in our office.
