A Grayson County, Texas, homeowner was airlifted to the hospital Monday after fatally shooting a suspected intruder armed with a hammer around 4:30 p.m.
ABC10 report The suspect allegedly “broke into the house.”
“The homeowner tried to get the man to leave and was struck with a hammer,” the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The homeowner shot the alleged intruder and then called 911.
KXII I got it. The alleged intruder was shot and taken to hospital by “air ambulance,” police said. On Tuesday, he was in critical but stable condition.
Breitbart News reported that around 4 a.m. Wednesday, a suspected intruder tried to enter a building in St. Louis through a fire escape and was shot and killed by the building’s occupants.
