Former Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. Arrest records will be displayed.
King County jail records show Sherman was arrested by the Washington State Patrol in the early morning hours.
The State Patrol confirmed the arrest to FOX 13 in Seattle. However, each outletthe King County Prosecutor’s Office has not filed charges in the case.
It is not clear what led to the arrest.
Sherman, 35, was charged with DUI in July 2021 after police said the former Seahawk crashed his car into a construction zone and tried to break into his in-laws’ home in suburban Seattle. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic disturbance.
The case was concluded in March 2022 when Sherman pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in Seattle.
“Thank you for the community we have and for the way people have continued to accept you, even though you are a flawed human being and have made mistakes,” Sherman said in court after the argument, according to the Associated Press. “
Sherman was one of the top defensive backs of the 2010s, making five Pro Bowls and being named All-Pro five times.

He has been a pre- and post-game analyst on Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” since 2022, and has been a panelist on FS1’s “Undisputed” since taking over last summer.
