California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell appears to have donated large amounts of campaign funds to Super Bowl tickets and other stadium items for the big game, according to FEC records reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Swalwell, who posted a photo on his Instagram Story of himself attending the Super Bowl on February 11th wearing San Francisco 49ers gear, has reported large debts in past financial disclosure reports. Considering this, people are wondering how he got the tickets.

According to the filing, the cost was “event ticket fees for a fundraising event.” The filing also shows the campaign spent nearly $3,000 on “food and beverages” at Alexa’s Las Vegas, “Las Vegas’ last centrally located restaurant and bar.”
