Taylor Swift’s father Scott is accused of assaulting an Australian photographer early Tuesday morning.

NSW Police confirmed to Page Six that an investigation has been launched against Scott for allegedly assaulting Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry pier in Sydney.

“Two individuals aggressively advanced toward Taylor, grabbed the security guard, and threatened to throw the female staff member into the water,” Swift’s spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

Page Six reported that the alleged assault occurred at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday and McDonald did not require medical attention.

McDonald said: daily mail Mr Scott, 71, said the father and daughter duo “charged” at him after getting off the yacht at the end of the night.

“she [Taylor] “When we got off the boat, she walked towards the security guard who was holding an umbrella in our faces, and he charged at us,” MacDonald told the publication.

Ms McDonald claimed Mr Scott punched her on the left side of her face, leaving her with a “very painful chop” mark.

The Australian photographer told the magazine he had done nothing to provoke Scott’s reaction.

“Maybe for some reason they decided they needed to protect their daughter,” McDonald told the Daily Mail. “I’ve never seen anything like it in 23 years.”

Scott has become a fixture at his daughter’s shows during Elas tours. In November, Taylor famously changed the lyrics to her hit song “Karma” for her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who was at the show with Swift’s father.

This topic was discussed on Travis and Jason Kelsey’s podcast “New Heights.”

“Do you mean ‘karma’?” Travis answered. “Yeah, no, I didn’t know at all. Well, maybe I did find out a little bit, but I was still shocked when I definitely heard that come out of her mouth…I I thought, “Oh…she really just said that.” That? ‘”

“Yes, Mr. Swift, I’m sorry, big guy. Oh, I missed it. I never miss a high five either. High five big brother! It’s the most exciting thing you can do at an event…I’m so sorry.” I repeated.

Jason noted that Scott, who has historically been a Philadelphia Eagles fan, wore a Kansas City Chiefs strap at Swift’s concert. Jason currently plays center for the Eagles.

“Are you going to stop being a fan for the rest of your life because of this man’s devilish good looks and his relationship with your daughter, Scott?” Jason teased.
