Being the son of one of the most controversial and outspoken conservatives in Congress is not easy. Just ask Tyler Boebert.
The Colorado teen is the eldest child of Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert and her ex-husband Jason. She made headlines for becoming a father in 2023 at just 18 years old, but she is now staring down a long list of charges related to a series of theft charges.
Rep. Boebert’s office did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on the allegations, but this is far from the family’s first predicament.

Just two months before Tyler was born, Jason Boebert was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery after he allegedly exposed himself to two women at a local bowling alley.
He pleaded guilty and served four days on a two-year suspended sentence.

Tyler Boebert first approached law enforcement in September 2022 when he received a personal injury ticket for careless driving. Westword reported.
The 17-year-old was behind the wheel of his father’s car when it plunged into the riverbed, injuring his 19-year-old friend Noble D’Amato, the paper said.
D’Amato was hospitalized with multiple concussions and severe lacerations to his hands, but later accused the Boebert family of downplaying the accident.
“My thumb almost got cut off. I can’t hold a TIG torch anymore, so I can’t get a welding job anymore. I’m a personal care provider now,” he lamented to Westword.
The paper noted that Tyler’s initial complaint ultimately came down to a “defective headlight” ticket.
As part of his plea agreement, Tyler was required to complete a “Live at 25” program.
The court issued a bench warrant for the boy’s failure to appear for a court appearance, after which he called to reschedule a virtual meeting.
Westword said Tyler also provided evidence of completing his sources for “Alive at 25.”

In May 2023, Lauren Boebert revealed that Tyler and his girlfriend were pregnant with a boy, making Tyler a grandmother at the ripe old age of 36.
A Colorado flame-monger raised eyebrows when he used the announcement to praise the high rates of teen pregnancy in “rural, conservative communities.”
“The reason we have a higher percentage of teenage mothers in rural, conservative areas is because they understand the preciousness of the lives that are about to be born,” she argued.
The following month, Boebert confirmed that Tyler and his girlfriend, whose name has not been released, welcomed their son into the world.

Lauren Boebert filed for divorce from Jason in May 2023, and the process was finalized in October of the same year.
In early January, Jason Boebert was arrested for allegedly shoving Tyler and sticking his thumb in his mouth during a fight at his home.
Officers arrived at the residence after Tyler told a 911 caller that her father was drunk and had a rifle.
