When questioned by deputies, Gomez admitted to writing the risqué note and said he began a relationship with the young inmate when they met at the facility several weeks earlier.

“Mr. Gomez admitted that he fantasized about having a sexual relationship with the victim and that he planned to build a life with the victim once she was released,” the statement said.

Gomez was hired as a sergeant in January and was assigned to the juvenile suspect unit three weeks ago.
