Woods is I’ve never played Previously in this tournament, according to Golf Channel’s Brently Romine.

But Woods’ play is a good sign, especially considering he withdrew from the Genesis Invitational two weeks ago due to illness.

At last December’s Hero World Challenge, Woods revealed that he wants to play in one PGA Tour event a month beyond 2024.

He had hoped to play at the Riviera in February, The Players in March, the Masters in April, the PGA Championship in May, the U.S. Open in June and the British Open in July.

But Woods’ withdrawal put those plans in jeopardy.

Nevertheless, golf fans will find out whether Woods will play at TPC Sawgrass next Friday, when the PGA Tour announces the berths for the 2024 Players Championship, the 50th edition of the tour’s most prestigious event. It’s going to happen.
