Saturday was perhaps the highlight day of the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, as quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers worked out at Lucas Oil Stadium.
While it’s traditionally the quarterback who changes direction, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy will definitely get his share of the headlines as well. why? Because Worthy just carved out his name in NFL Scouting Combine history.

Worthy attended the NFL Scouting Combine and was considered a second-round prospect.according to NFL Mock Draft Database, Worthy is ranked No. 44 overall on the “Consensus Big Board.”
Worthy caught 75 passes for 1,014 yards and five touchdowns this season as Texas advanced to the College Football Playoff. In his three-year career at Texas, he caught 197 passes for 2,755 yards and 26 touchdowns.
And now he owns a piece of NFL Combine history.
