Drag queen RuPaul has revealed that she and her husband are building a fort in the red state of Wyoming, saying “a civil war is just around the corner.”
RuPaul made this revelation in a book interview with Ronan Farrow New Yorker.
“I fear the worst,” he told the magazine. “We are very close to civil war. All the signs are there.”
The facility is reportedly being built on her husband Georges Lebar’s 60,000-acre ranch in Wyoming. “I wouldn’t call it a bunker,” RuPaul said. But Farrow said it’s designed to withstand disaster. “It’s specific and it’s a lot of things.”

During the interview, RuPaul shared his views on gender nonconformity.
“Gender is a concept that we come up with in our heads and egos,” he told Farrow. “My genitals are male. But I can be anything I can be. I feel like I’m everything. You’re everything. You’re a man, you’re a woman. Sometimes I’m more than others. Sometimes I feel masculine.”
In recent years, RuPaul has clashed with the woke transgender population by questioning whether he should feature transgender people on his reality show. rupaul’s drag race. She also faced criticism for suggesting in an interview with NPR that hydraulic fracturing was being done on her husband’s Wyoming ranch.
When Farrow asked about the latter controversy, RuPaul replied: Before you point your finger, smell it first, bitch. ”
He added: “I don’t have the combination of words that will appease the mob.”
Farrow’s interview did not delve into the ongoing controversy surrounding the left’s embrace of drag queen Story Hour events and drag shows for children.
However, as Breitbart News reported, RuPaul publicly denounced state laws that prohibit such events.
“Drag queens are the marines of the queer movement,” he said last year.
