Kevin Costner spent decades bringing Horizon: An American Saga to life.
He released the first trailer for the four-part post-Civil War drama last week, featuring a new Costner to fall in love with on the silver screen, his 15-year-old son Hayes Logan Costner.
In another clip shared on social media on Sunday, Kevin praised his youngest son, calling him “the best part of the Horizon: Part 1 trailer.”

In addition to starring in feature films, Costner also directed “Horizon” from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Baird.

“This is the biggest struggle I’ve ever had,” Costner said via Variety. “I’m shocked at what we were able to get. We shot ‘Dance’ in 106 days, and the movie you’re watching now took 52 days to shoot.”
He added, “I learned a ton and was able to use every trick in the book to get this movie off the ground and in front of an audience. And there are four of them! ” he added.

Horizon marks Costner’s fourth time in the director’s chair. His last directorial work was his “Open Range” over 20 years ago, followed by his 1997 film “The Postman.” He won multiple Academy Awards for 1990’s Dances with Wolves.
Costner expressed gratitude to God for allowing him to even make his first two films. “I’m very happy in my own life that God allowed me to accomplish those first two,” Costner said. “I mean, you never know what will happen if you get hit by lightning. At least I went west.”

The premise of “Horizon” wasn’t explained in the three-minute trailer, but director Costner said before focusing on the ensemble cast, which includes Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi, Jena Malone and Abbey Lee. , which emphasized the beauty of the American Southwest. .
