Ford sales jumped in February, led by gains in hybrids and EVs

ford motor announced Monday that its U.S. sales rose 10.5% in February due to strong sales of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles.

Sales of Ford’s hybrid vehicles have increased by 36.7% since the beginning of the year through February, with sales of 12,045 vehicles in February, an increase of 31.5% from the same month last year.

Ford commented on the news: “Hybrid vehicles continue to be a growth area for Ford, with sales growing faster than the U.S. industry as a whole for much of last year.”
