Arch Manning opting out of EA Sports college football video game

Over 10,000 college football players have opted in to participate in EA Sports College Football 25, but there is one player who will not be participating in the game.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning has reportedly opted out of appearing in video games. Anwar Richardson of the Orange Bloodsto focus on his development on the field.

“Multiple people have told me that Texas redshirt quarterback Arch Manning will not be participating in EA Sports College Football 25. Arch is focused on being on the field and playing football,” Richardson told X. I hear they are doing it,” he said.

This year marks the first time in more than a decade that EA Sports has released a college football video game for console systems, with the release of NCAA Football 14.

This game is scheduled to be released this summer. An EA spokesperson told ESPN. The number of college football players who agreed to have their names and likenesses used passed the 10,000 mark on Friday.

All 134 FBS teams will have 85-man rosters, and players who opt into the game will receive $600 and a free copy of the game.

Manning won’t play in the game, but the quarterback he backed up last season will.

Presented by Quinn Ewers announced on social media that he would be playing in the highly anticipated college football game.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe also announced that he has agreed to participate in the game.

EA had Teaser trailer released Last month, the video game announced its return to much fanfare.

Details will be revealed in May.

The popular video game series ceased production after the release of NCAA Football 2014 in 2013 amid heated debate over student-athletes being compensated for the use of their names, images and likenesses.

Actual player names were not used in the video game, but the roster was created to mimic the players on that year’s team.
