However, the first UK edition of the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is actually 223 pages long. Nowadays, authentic copies are quite difficult to come by and you have to shell out a lot of cash to get your hands on one.

Even the second and third books in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, are not very long, both around 400 pages.

The rest of the series actually increases in page count.

The fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is over 700 pages long, and the fifth book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, is nearly 900 pages long.
