Mother of Slain Georgia Co-Ed Encourages People to Turn to Christ

The mother of Laken Riley, the Augusta University student who was murdered on campus last month, took to social media to encourage people to turn to Jesus Christ.

“My family faced the most devastating and unimaginable loss that anyone must endure. My Lord and Savior Jesus, who has been with me and my family during this heartbreaking time. I want to thank Christ,” said Riley’s mother, Alison Phillips. I have written. “I encourage everyone to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I give all the glory to him for getting us through this.”
