A New Mexico jury has found Alec Baldwin’s movie set armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reid. rust, guilty of manslaughter. However, she was acquitted of charges of tampering with her evidence.

The jury reached its verdict Wednesday after deliberating for less than three hours. The 26-year-old reportedly showed little emotion while the verdict was read out.

“I categorically say that the cause of her death was Mr. Baldwin’s deviation from the script. No one knew there would be live rounds on set. The only action would be to point the weapon at Mr. Gutierrez. did not point the weapon,” Gutierrez-Reed’s attorney, Jason Bowles, said.
She will be sentenced another day. Gutierrez-Reed now faces up to three years in state prison. Meanwhile, Baldwin has also been charged with manslaughter, and his trial begins on August 6th.th.
