The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in North American sports. Simply put, Jerry Jones built an empire.
But its empire extends far beyond the arena. AT&T Stadium cost him $1.3 billion, and The Star, the team’s home base with a practice facility and strip mall, cost him $1.5 billion.

However, one former Cowboy seemed to hint that all the extracurricular activities can be a distraction.
Dalton Schultz spent his first five seasons with the Cowboys and signed a one-year contract with the Houston Texans before last season.
Schultz said he was scared to leave Dallas because that was all he knew in the NFL. But when he arrived at the Texans, he was relieved to learn that the organization’s “sole focus is football.”
“That was one of the first things that stuck with me, but I feel like there’s more to it than that – I don’t want to say college because it’s not college – but the focus is just football, I You know what I mean?” Schultz said. “The Pat McAfee Show” on wednesday.

“Going back, when I talked to some people about what it was like around the Cowboys practice facility on game day and described the interactions that I see on a daily basis, a lot of people were surprised. They’re like, ‘Oh my god.'” *p, is that actually happening at the practice facility? I thought that was normal, but then I ended up in a place like this. ”
In what is considered an apparent anomaly, Schultz said fans will be able to watch the team’s workouts through a one-way mirror and that the facility is a “zoo.”
“While we’re working out in the weight room, there are people literally taking tours. And there’s also a one-way mirror that people want to look at. It’s a zoo, man. People tapping. I was trying to get people’s attention on the glass while I was doing a power clean or something. However, that is different. ”
“That’s the brand they’ve built. That’s what I like about Jerry Jones. That’s the way they are, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just how many eyeballs there are and how many They just don’t understand that it’s just a distraction from things.” You just stay in the facility’s locker room until you go somewhere else and you’re like, ‘Fuck you, that’s not happening.”
